We are preparing our students to become global citizens and that requires strong academics, compassion, interdisciplinary skills and the ability to engage with people in all different situations.

Junior Achievement. Mentors have been coming to PSA classes to provide skills training and leadership. Here is a link to photos of a JA training to help PSA students learn business basics:
Student Councils for Elementary, Middle and High School offer opportunities for students to learn about meeting facilitation, project planning and evaluation. Students help develop ideas and events, market the events, and set up organizing committees.
National Honor Society at PSA is a highly celebrated organization. See the beautiful induction of 17 scholars with GPAs of 3.7+ (the minimum is 3.2). Click here. . .
PSiA brings students from the school into the community. Students develop their own programs. These include activities at a nearby nursing home, activities at events, and with local organizations.
Environmental Learning is big at PSA. Students organized recycling programs at the school. Teachers integrate learning to include a school garden. Trips to Como Zoo and walks around MN reinforce learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM).
